Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any Looty service, including editor experiences, automation tools, partner dashboards, and related APIs, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.

2. Eligibility & Account

• You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to enter into contracts in your jurisdiction.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
• We may suspend or terminate access if we detect unauthorized use, platform abuse, or violations of these terms.
• Team and organization accounts must identify a primary contact responsible for billing and compliance.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

• Paid plans renew automatically at the cadence you select (monthly or annually) until cancelled.
• All payments are processed by Stripe; card data is never stored on Looty infrastructure.
• Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period. Pro-rated refunds are not provided unless required by law.
• If an invoice remains unpaid, we may pause access to premium features until the balance is resolved.

4. Acceptable Use

• Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, data, or accounts.
• Do not resell, sublicense, or publicly share Looty's services without prior written consent.
• Do not upload malicious code, automate abusive requests, or interfere with platform stability.
• Respect third-party intellectual property when importing or sharing loot tables, prefabs, or configs.

5. Intellectual Property

Looty retains all rights to its software, designs, data structures, and branding. Subject to your subscription, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform for Rust server administration and related workflows. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law.

Content you create remains yours. By submitting content to the platform (loot tables, configurations, guides), you grant us permission to host, process, and display it for the purpose of providing the service.

6. Data & Privacy

• We collect and process data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
• We may generate aggregated, anonymized analytics to improve platform performance and stability.
• You are responsible for obtaining consent from your players or team members when you export or share their data.

7. Service Availability

• We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
• We may modify, discontinue, or sunset features. When practical, we will provide reasonable notice via dashboard, email, or Discord.
• Beta features or pre-release editors may be unstable and offered “as-is” without guarantees.

8. Disclaimers & Liability

• Services are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis without warranties of any kind.
• Looty is not liable for lost revenue, downtime, or indirect damages arising from the use or inability to use the platform.
• Our total liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid during the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify Looty, its affiliates, and team members against claims arising from your use of the service, your content, or any violation of these terms or applicable law.

10. Termination

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
• We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these terms, harms the platform, or exposes us to legal risk.
• Upon termination, your right to access the services ends immediately, but sections relating to payment, IP, indemnity, and liability survive.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service as our platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated through in-app notices, email, or Discord. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
